1. Can I use this on carpets?
No. Multi-Surface film has a lower tack adhesive designed for hard, non-porous surfaces. It will not bond correctly to carpet fibers. Please use COCUS Carpet Protection Film for all textile flooring.
2. Is it safe for real wood floors?
It is safe for most finished (varnished or lacquered) timber floors. However, we do not recommend using adhesive films on "unsealed" wood or floors with a very old/flaking finish. Always perform a small test patch in an inconspicuous area first.
3. How long can I leave it down?
For best results, we recommend removing the film within 30 to 45 days. If left for several months, the adhesive can become more difficult to remove due to temperature fluctuations.
4. Can I use this on my kitchen worktops?
Yes! It is excellent for protecting expensive stone, laminate, or solid-surface worktops during kitchen installations or when tiling backsplashes.
5. Does it require tape to stay down?
Not at all. The entire underside of the film is coated in a low-tack adhesive, so it grips the surface independently. This saves you money on masking tape and ensures a tighter seal.
