This 50L spill kit steps up from our bag-style kits into a shoulder-strap vinyl holdall, giving you noticeably more absorbent capacity while still being easy for one person to carry to where it's needed.

Choose from three absorbency types to match what you're protecting against. Oil Only kits use a hydrophobic absorbent that repels water and only soaks up oils, fuels and hydrocarbons, making them ideal for outdoor use where rainwater or standing water is present. Maintenance kits use a general-purpose absorbent that handles oils, coolants, solvents and water-based fluids, covering most day-to-day workshop and garage spills. Chemical kits are built to resist aggressive acids, alkalis and unknown substances, and are colour-coded yellow so staff can identify the right kit at a glance - though the colour only identifies the kit type, not the liquid spilled, so always follow your site's own COSHH risk assessment.

Every kit is supplied ready-packed with absorbent pads and socks sized to its capacity, along with hazard disposal bags and an instruction sheet, so there's no need to source separate consumables before you can respond to a spill.

Suited to workshops, plant rooms, vehicle depots and sites that need solid absorbent capacity that's still quick to grab and carry.

1. Is a 50L kit big enough for my site?

50L suits larger or multiple spills, small drums, or busier workshop use. For a full 205L drum, size up to our 80L or 120L bin-based kits.

2. Can I use an Oil Only kit for a chemical spill?

No. Oil Only absorbents are hydrophobic and are not built to resist aggressive chemicals - always use a Chemical kit for acids, alkalis or unknown substances.

3. Does the yellow colour of the Chemical kit tell me what the spilled liquid is?

No, the yellow colouring only identifies the kit type - it does not identify or neutralise an unknown chemical, so always follow your site's COSHH risk assessment.

4. How do I dispose of used absorbents?

Treat saturated pads, socks and pillows as contaminated or hazardous waste and arrange collection through a licensed waste carrier - do not put them in general waste.

5. Where should I store this kit?

Keep it somewhere visible and easy to reach quickly, such as a workshop wall hook, plant room shelf, or vehicle storage compartment, close to where a spill is most likely to happen.
